Buckland Hospital Gone

... once the poorhouse of Dover, Kent, where the road used to be called Union Road ...
Then a new life for the old building, a hospital, where many a Dovorian was born, treated, and where some breathed their last.
Now superseded by a new building alongside, with treatment rooms but - nary a hospital bed.
