We chose the most comfortable and easier way to discover the dazzling beauty of the Alps with 29 four-thousand metre peaks – from the Matterhorn through to the Monte Rosa.
We arrived here …by train ( I would have died if I had been obliged to climb or to trek all that way, but I could manage to do it for the last 200 metres up from the final railway station)
Departing from Zermatt, Europe‘s highest open-air cog railway has travelled up onto the Gornergrat, at 3089 metres a.s.l., since 1898.
