One of the good sides to travel in low season (well there are only good sides in my opinion) is that one can enjoy all the places in a relative or total peace, since there is practically nobody else around.

We spent a little time strolling over this garden, which is like a balcony midway between the lake level and the top of Mottarone Mountain.

It was as desert as a mythic Druids’ forest.
