Something of Firenze (Florence)

There are places, in this little surprising planet, which are particularly cherished by tourists and travelers for their indisputable natural beauty, their amazing historical vestiges and in a way for their uniqueness.
In the age of mass tourism it has become relatively very easy to travel all over to see as much as it’s possible and to collect also photographic memories to document the trip. It follows that all possible photos of these places have already been taken and we can have access to endless series of pictures which show more or less always the same things.
How would be possible to take a very original and personalized photo of Niagara Falls, the Egyptian pyramids, the Temples of Burma, the canals of Venice? The places are amazingly wonderful, but we have already seen them in all ways and in all forms. This is also what happens in the most famous artistic towns of Italy, the beauty of which is remarkable but always a little troubled by the crowd of people who, logically, enjoy them. In this gallery I’m sharing, with a few possible sporadic visitors, my unpretentious visual impression of a town I’m lucky enough to know fairly well and where I always like going again:
Firenze (Florence)
I usually feel a little depressed when I have to try to take photos in very crowded places, for reasons I consider useless to mention in detail, so I decided to try a different approach this time and I took my photos only very early in the morning, nearly before dawn or late at night.
Firenze repaid me, showing its secret and somehow shy face, its desert street and its silent corners, draped into a scarf of unusual silence.
