Inner geek?

I got some new glasses during the week.
I wear them mostly for using the computer at work and also for reading so
I don't consider them a major fashion statement and steered clear of 'designer' frames.
I was somewhat amused to discover that these ones are described as capturing the 'geek chic librarian look' which apparently is fashionable, especially as librarian was a back-up career choice many years ago.
Also bought this copy of 'Little Women' - I loved the stories of Jo, Meg and all the other Marsh sisters when I was a teenager and look forward to reading them again.

Hey, it works for Tina Fey.
Just imagine, if you had Little Women on a Kindle you'd be able to flip straight to it from the menu {teasing grin}.
But I grant you that the hardback on the wooden surface with the glasses on top does make for a shot which gives a much more nostalgic and traditional feel of reading classic literature.

the retro looks seems apt for a return to the classics..

I'm sure that they suit you very well. How lovely to see a book, you know, real paper and card, can't be beaten by electronics!

I think those are pretty sharp looking glasses and think you've composed quite a striking still life as well. V.

I like the glasses! Like you I wear them for reading and computer work, so don't really care what they look like, but these ones are very nice. Haven't read Little Women for far too many decades! Super comp! V
