We travelled to Limerick yesterday as our son had to attend a portfolio assessment at Limerick School of Art and Design, where he hopes to gain a place.
While he went on a tour of the college, we went for a short walk through the city.
The riverfront along the Shannon has been turned into a most attractive walkway with a number of monuments, including this one to the city's dockers by Limerick-born sculptor Michael Duhan.
