What seems a chore in autumn is always well rewarded in spring.
So why do I always end up with packets of unplanted bulbs?
Not these ones though, found in a pretty basket in the 'sad corner' of a hardware store at the end of last spring.
Dumped out of the basket to make room for a houseplant, they add a
welcome splash of colour in the garden.
