A Bargain For Toffee

I can't resist a bargain so when I saw this scratching board reduced I had to buy it for Toffee.
It's made from corrugated cardboard, possibly impregnated with catnip, so he embarked on a frenzy of scratching and rubbing his face against it when we unwrapped it.
As you can see, it's perfectly cat-shaped which makes it the perfect resting place.
Possibly the best €2 I've ever spent!

It'll be extra nice when the sun peeks in.

Must look into this.
I like the way the light is mainly on his face and then fades away, much like his body ripples in the same direction on the board.

Oh I could do with one for Spike. He's demolished his Avon box! This looks a really comfy cat shape. Lucky Toffee :)

Virby tears one of these apart in about 2 months. She could care less about the catnip, but the cardboard is magic.

A very contented cat eh! v

A gorgeous portrait and I love the scratching board. I wouldn't mind one for myself if they would impregnate it with Powers Irish Whiskey. :) V

That is a great scratching pad. I have never been able to get a cat to use one. Pretty Toffee looks happy with his new toy. V.

It is so good when they like the gifts more than the packaging. It is very well designed.

Great new spot for Toffee! Also a charming portrait of him resting in his new settee. V.

I have one of these for my cats and the LOVE it!!! It has lasted a long time too. Wonderful picture of Toffee, the dear Sir Puss... king of the windowsill! V

Where can I get one? Ginger uses our settees for the same purpose!

It looks wonderful! And so does Toffee! I am sure at least one of my cats would like this (the other two are immune to catnip for some reason!). V

Wonderful portrait. He seems to be enjoying it very much. I must find one for our Diego.
