Toffee missed out on the Christmas tree being put up this year.
He was asleep on the fish tank and didn't get a chance to 'help' us by climbing up the branches as we assembled the tree.
And, perhaps because he has put his teenage ways behind him, he didn't try to scale the tree this year, contenting himself to play with the lower branches every so often.
He couldn't, however, pass up on the opportunity to sit atop the branches as we dismantled the tree and packed it up in its box,
ready to go up in the attic for another year.
