It's been non-stop rain for the past two days and the forecast for the weekend isn't promising.
Everyone's keeping their fingers crossed that the weather will improve so that the nation can begin to party as Ireland compete in the Euro 2012 Championships.
Here in Dundalk there are lots of activities planned for the recently revamped town square, with live music, entertainment, outdoor movies and the Ireland games being shown on big screens.
It would be such a shame if the weather doesn't play ball.
