The great Irish legend Tain Bo Cuilgne or The Cattle Raid of Cooley was
brought to life in a dramatic re-enactment in Dundalk's Market Square today.
The Tain tells the story of Queen Meabh who set off with her army from Connaught to capture a prize bull belonging to a Cooley farmer. But she hadn't reckoned with Ulster's greatest warrior Cuchulainn who
faced down her army, slaying his best friend Ferdia before being fatally wounded himself.
I am sorry, I am way, way behind with commenting. Life is busy but I want to keep posting images.
