Going to the Ball

A friend's daughter had her Debs Ball (Prom) tonight so I said I'd nip round to their house after work and take some pics. Her friends called round as well so there was lots of excitement.
They all looked so glamourous and grown up - seems like yesterday since they were toddlers.
PS - am behind with commenting and likely will remain so as I now have lots of photos to process.

Try taking a trip to the zoo and coming back with 700+ to get through... But for this one, and this may well have been said for I don't have time to read the comments, the sepia tone imparts a nice tonal range to both the skin of the arms and the flour arrangements. It probably works better than had it been colour, in this case. Also there's something old-worldly about deb balls, so it's an apposite choice.

The sepia tone really makes something of the picture, adds a sort of old fashioned air to the giving of the flowers
