Inspiration

This shop in the centre of Dundalk, which proudly claims to be one of the oldest arched shopfronts is Europe, provided inspiration for a colleague the other day when we given the task of setting a local history quiz for our readers.
Short on time as usual today, I decided it could be the inspiration for my PAD as I liked how the morning light was shining on it;

It is great to have charachterful independents. It looks like an interesting shop and from the window display the sale on Christmas goodies has gone well :0)

And more importantly you could get not 40%, but 50% off all Christmas stock! Stores like this do have a certain character that you won't find in the equivalent Westfield mall. They're probably tight, hard to maintain and a visual merchandiser's nightmare, but do provide a feel of times past.

The morning light is indeed pretty and the colors are wonderful. I like how the light is hitting the newspapers. Maybe they have some enlightening stories in them!
