I really enjoyed this comic novel which tells the story of two Ukrainian sisters concern when their 84 year father's romance with a blonde young enough to be his daughter or even granddaughter. As they fret about what they see as her attempt to get a visa to stay in the UK, he works on his book about the tractors of his native country. Dealing with topics of family relationships and immigration, the novel has its tragic side as well. An entertaining and thought-provoking read, if not a great work of literature.
