Carlingford Lough

Looking out towards the Irish Sea from Omeath, with
Co Down on the left and Co Louth on the right.
Critical comments welcomed on this as I'm not
too sure about the results - used an ND filter
as it was a very bright day.

Love to know the type of the ND filter as I'm thinking of getting one myself. The filtering is a teeny bit inconsistent on the right, with it seeming to wash out the saturation in the sky a bit. The blues over there look a lot paler than the ones on the left though if it was really necessary (and it probably isn't) it would be possible to touch that up in PS with a saturation layer and a graduated mask. (Obviously the light won't be consistent across the sky but there seems to be a relatively abrupt transition point right around that wisp of cirrus cloud in the top right, which I suspect has to do with the angle that it was striking the filter.) Doesn't spoil the image though, with the composition nicely leading the eye down the slopes and onto the boat in the centre of the harbour.
