Not too sure if I'm happy with how this turned out.
If truth be told I was too lazy to set up my tripod
so handheld probably wasn't really the best option.

Wonderful idea. Although it could be a little sharper, the tiny blur seems to add a nice softness that goes well with the composition.

I don't think it matters since you wanted the soft effect anyway. It's sharp enough where it needs to be, and a cleverly contrived subject.
