I never really liked heart motifs much. I always thought them too girlie and too needy, as if
women had to wear one to show that they had a lover in their life. Then one Christmas I
spied this one which I wanted to match a party outfit so I asked my sweetheart to buy it
for me.
I am a bit of a magpie when it comes to jewellery. I like sparkly costume jewellery and
most of mine comes from chain stores, craft fairs and even market stalls. A few years
ago I discovered the Pilgrim range which is designed in Denmark and I've managed to
build up a collection of differently pieces. The few pieces of 'real' jewellery which I
have are family heirlooms which belonged to my mother or grandmother but I rarely
wear them as they don't really fit in with my way of dressing.
A leftover from the Thursday challenge but I couldn't decide which I preferred.
