There's a real feeling of autumn now that October has rolled in. The farmers are ploughing the fields, getting
ready to sow the crops for next spring. The swallows have departed and the leaves are taking on their autumn colours.
I've been watching tractors at work on this farm for the past few days. At first they were ploughing in the field next
to the double carriageway which I drive along each day on my way to work - much too dangerous to stop to take a
picture, even if I had time. Today, as I was going to town, I was delighted to see that they had moved to another field adjoining the driveway up to the flower market so I made a detour to get this picture. Not totally happy with the composition but I was peeping over the hedge.
