Another perfect day with clear blue skies and warm sunshine. It's almost compensation for our non-existent summer
and a tempting glimpse of what life could be like if we could but rely on the sun to shine.
After planting up some pots for the autumn, I headed to the Vintage Day in Knockbridge, a small village outside
Dundalk. It's a real community event and the sunshine made it the perfect end of summer festival. There were vintage cars, vintage tractors, steam engines and threshing machines, not forgetting the sheep racing! Not sure how one persuades a sheep to race, but race these sheep did. I have lots of photographs to upload whenever I find time.
