Santa in September

Bemused shoppers could hardly believe their eyes when Santa appeared in Park Street, Dundalk, today.
And it was all the fault of The Argus, the paper I work for ! One of my colleagues contacted the council as there wasn't room for people with prams to squeeze through the gap between a hoarding which had been erected outside
a building site and a litter bin. The litter bin was duly removed and the workmen placed this ornamental
Santa on top of the wet concrete base to stop people walking on it.

Love the look on the faces of the folks in the car behind Santa! Great capture.

Dundalk???!!!! I visited friends in Dundalk years ago. It's not far from the N. border. What a small world!
The Santa shot is cute. I wonder why he is wrapped with yellow tape?
