Today I enjoyed the company of friends old and new.
There was the generosity of an old friend who gave me a lift to Dublin,
the wit and wisdom of a new friend, fellow pbaser Máire (pictured here),
and the pleasure of meeting a friend from my college days who I
first met when we enrolled in the same course twenty years ago.
