Kitchen #2

I grew up on a small farm and my
mother used this churn
to make delicious country butter.

Now if we had to churn our own butter today, perhaps we would eat less of it and be healthier, but to my mind butter is GOOD! This is an absolutely beautiful shot! Love the rusted patina, the richness of the glass and the red top that blends so well with that beautiful tile. This is a keeper as a tribute to "the good old days" and also to your mother.

Gosh! I wouldn't have guessed what that was!! Lovely shot, I like the flowery tile behind the churn - it just gives a gentle lift in colour across the whole frame...and the red matches the handle perfectly!
