Landscapes in a 'portrait' style frequently don't 'work'. This one does! Interest is kept alive from the excellently positioned boat in the foreground, through the expanse of water to the far shore and on into the background using receding 'layers'. V
very nice. I fully understand your comments. Padding takes time and replying takes more time. Some times the times is just not there. but any entry is appreciated. and all comments are deeply appreciated. Just thank you for participating as much as you do.
Rich blues. Thanks for the feedback on my reply to Cindy, Maaike and Flo. I want to be clear that I have no problem with archival shots. I do have a problem with people who regularly post archived shots especially to challenges that are PaD ones. I understand the rigors of multiple responsibilities, unforseen events that arise, etc. and don't expect everyone to live by my interpretation of what PaDding is.
...and blue sky, blue-ish mud :o). I like the sense of scale in this shot Mairead, the boat looks dwarfed by the distant hills and peaks, but it still very much 'belongs'... well done! V
