Circling personal treasures

I looked in my jewel and trinkets box for this and found a number of circles that brought back memories for me, some happy, some sad. That’s the circle of life I suppose.
Significant circles in the above image include: my wedding ring, my engagement ring, my Claddagh ring, my late aunt’s ring which she left me when she died, a lapel or scarf brooch, a fun badge to remind me of my young friend Caroline’s wedding in France two years ago, an old punt coin reminding me of the year 1999, a medal I won for an essay when I was in school, and two fáinní óir: small golden brooch rings at the bottom of the picture worn by people who like to let others know they are fluent in and willing to speak the Irish language.
