Heehee - lI know what you mean, but it looks about right to me :o) I do this by manually focussing to infinty so I can see the focus points through the lens, work out which I've selected then move slowly backwards, keeping it in view with the eye I want in focus then.... click! But it depends on your focus points being visible in the first place... :o)
