The Pushkin pin

The Pushkin Award
For a number of years over the past decade I have had a marginal involvement in the Pushkin Awards initiative with students and young people. It is the brainchild of the Duchess of Abercorn, a direct descendant of the writer Alexander Pushkin, and it provides a wonderful springboard to creativity for children of all ages and backgrounds. It was at Pushkin workshops that I wrote my first poem, my first story, and painted my first painting.

Your involvement I'm sure would be more than marginal...this is something to treasure.

Anything like this has to be a good idea. So many youngsters have no direction these days.

Nice shot of this pretty pin. Pupils from some local schools have taken part in
and won prizes in the Pushkin awards

What a wonderful idea for youngsters, I'm sure that they gain much encouragement from this Awards Initiative. I love the design of the pin.
