The passage of time

A grainy image of a photograph of my father’s parents shortly after their marriage. They would have been about 23-24 years old at the time. Less than two years later my young grandmother was widowed when my grandfather was drowned.

A life cut too short...love these old photos though. The quality is amazing. I restored a silver print of my great-grandmother from 1903 and it was so rich, every detail still there (some hiding). Kodacolor eat your heart out.
