They missed the mark so badly they actually made up a new wire size.

Commercially available 7 AWG wire simply does not exist in North America.... Doh'......

I took a solid carbide drill bit and drilled my 7 awg crimp die out to make a larger die,worked out great.So now my 7 awg die is big enough to crimp 1/0 lugs.
