Tornado Warning March 30th

Today We had Two Tornado Warnings
and Three Severe Thunderstorm Warnings
A rotating wall cloud flew over my house
(couldn't get camera in time for that one)
A barn or two destroyed and a lot of hail reports
But an interesting sky.

Funny thing about storms. They can be scary and beautiful and make for dramatic photos. You have captured some very good images of dramatic skies. Well done. Voted.

Enchanting work! I would be too frightened to be there so I appreciate your bravery as well as your abilty to photograph this subject for so many of us to view. The lighting is gorgeous!

Whow Barri, you really have a beautiful series of CSS screens which all compliment the images that you feature in them This is one of my current favourites but with so many fgreat shots you could spend hours, if not days of weeks checking them all aout.

So you watch the skies as well, eh Barri? All my life I have found myself looking skyward for changes and surprises...the ultimate fright/fascination for me has always been seeing a real tornado...they are my reoccurring nightmare and yet I can't tear myself away from
"Storm Stories" on the weather channel...Thanks for capturing such tempestuous skies. Please do always stay out of harm's way, your work is too good to lose you, lol!

I saw some other photos ( most from the storm's rearside) of this on our TV stations website...If I'd have known it looked as bad as those showed it on the westside of town, I think I would have been in the basement...instead of driving around to get pics...lol.

I was lucky to get these from this vantage point, the place of my choice (on a hill) was full of cars at a meeting, so this dead end road with the farm worked better anyway...a more "Twister" feel with the farm than I would've gotten at the other place...and a bit closer too.
