Thanks Leslie
I think this type of photography has sort of a "feel of the past" to it. I can remember looking through some very old books, before 1/2 tones...or before they became inexpensive to print...and they had very high contrast illustrations and photos. The store on the corner, I think may not be a "Corner Grocery" anymore, but it was one of the last in the area. Thanks much for your nice comments.

I like this image, it captures "small town Americana" just by the composition and subject even if the cars are more modern...excellent image

Hi Wendy
I honestly don't know why this one has much more detail than many of the others in this style, I have much to learn about this style of photography (blackboard and whiteboard settings in my Oly). I like this one myself, because of that. It had to be the light and the exposure coincided more correctly, almost like with a polarizer and it's angle to the light. I'm still experimenting with this all. Fun! Thanks much.
