First Saw this peak in 1974 on a hike from during my high school spring break. Interestingly, a camera crew was there to try to record a " Bigfoot " Sighting for National Geographic after local climbers reported see what they though of large apeman walking over a saddle near Mountain three mornings in a row. Never heard any more about the camera men or the reported sights. Olympic Mt.s were the very " Last " mountains to be explored by white settlers and natives in the area never entered them because of " Evil Spririts".
