On the Old PCT, it was 540 miles to Weldon which was basicly the end of desert hiking. Everyone dubbed it " Well Done" after lots of hard hiking on mining roads and sometimes " Cross Country " as no trail was built yet.... ( Note early MSR Model 9 stove in use....)
