These are both early 60's Mitchell reels . In 1960 , Mitchell came out with the Ultralight 308 with 4.6 to 1 ratios. A year and a half later the 408 came out as an even better reel and is dark blue in color instead of black and has a faster 6 to 1 gear Ratio. (Both these are near mint shape.
