Oregon Trail " Roadbed " At Former Bridge Site Across Scatter Creek

As A Kid in the 60's, one of the old log supports still was in place here , where I would catch large cutthroat trout here and wade around flipping rocks and catching crayfish or as we called them,,, " Crawdads ". In the 40's both brdige logs still where in place. Even today ,near the waterline on opposite bank, you can see 150 year old stone work from the bridge on " Oregon Trail "

Crawdads! I remember catching them with you all those years ago down at Scatter Creek (or crick as we pronounced it).

Nice picture, Monte. A great place for kids to grow up.
