Primus Model #71 ( Mid -60's Model ) With English Tea Pot

Ardenvoir, Washington

This stove was an un-lit model , but was burned on outside in a large fire . It's nice blue paint job is now a blackened mess, then it's little brass tank and burner assembly are still working perfect. ( Though I did not tighten the fuel cap as good as I could of " Hence " the small yellow flame with stove operating. Note older styple early 70's fuel fask. I packed one like this on my 1977 thru-hike of the PCT as did Eric Ryback back in 1970. ( He carried an even large one liter size. The sound of the noisy " Roarer Bruner " was musci to a cold hungry hiker at the end of the day or on a cold snowy morning making oatmeal,,,,,
