Note: didn't see one " Internal frame pack in July of 1981. Today , it is rare to see an External Frame pack. In 81, half the ice axes were wood handled. Today, again it is rare to see a wood handled ice axe. If you have one,,, " Guard It" as 1980 was the last year a wood handled ice axe was sold,,,,, ( ALso , note how few cars are in the Paradise Parking LOt On A Weekend!!! )
