Wild??? Yes!!! Crazy??? Yes Again!! Virgil was a bit of a " Hermit " Living In The Upper Skookumchuck Valley. His stick was said to have been given to him by a real " Wizard ".. He wore jean cutoffs summer and most the winter with rubber dairy boots and evn had a little wagon which he hooked up to goats to pull him. He got a check from the state each month and spent it almost all and just jerky. He had a few issues ,but local residents all enjoyed seeing this harmless character . He would ride his ten speed into town 10 or so miles for his items. ( Sadly enough he was stuck by a car in the early 80's ) He had a very " Cackling Laugh " than I can still remember to this day. He was the " Mad Man Of The Skookumchuck " for sure,,,,
