My Dad was a big rock hound. One day I took him into an area of the Valley Mountains,
10 miles est of 29 Palms, California. This spot had signs of some prospecting. We found
lots of quartz crystals. The valley beyond is called Wonder Valley, with the Sheep Hole
Mountains, some 20 miles east of us.
