Many different kinds of birds come in to this area below the dam at the pond for food and water.
Some are active in the old brush pile ( beavers are always trying to improve the concrete dam ), others in the dense cedar behind.
They rapidly become used to the camera, tripod and person (about 15 feet away) on this side of the water.
An Ameristep Outhouse blind is now being used with better results.
