Miss Crabby Appleton.
We got Missy from a shelter, 10 years ago. She had been considered "unadoptable" because she was so mean.
She is mean, but she is also extremely loving and affectionate. As long as she gets her way... LOL
In this photo, she is laying on her favorite plastic sack. This sack is really meant to keep dust off of my portable hard-drive.
She pulls it off and makes a bed with it every day. I put it back on, she takes it back off...

What a cute name! I now know who I am going to come to when I want to name a cat :) It sounds like a lot of others have or have had a cat or know someone who had a cat like this. I had a family member with a cat like this too. Very mean...until the electric cat opener was switched on!

She is beautiful Lynn! You had a lot of patience to get her to the "we can tolerate each other" state. Our poor cat hid under the couch for the first 2 months and would only come out when no one was around.

She's very beautiful. We also have a similar personality in our family - Alia. Also a "torty" (tortoise shell kitty). They are very reclusive and stand offish, but it sounds like your Miss is similar to Alia in that their personality can be so endearing. Beautiful capture of a beautiful kitty!
