MOCKINGBIRD'S SONG

I remember the first time I heard a mockingbird sing. He wouldn't shut up and I thought I would go out of my mind.
I got accustomed to it. Actually came to appreciate it. If you are curious, have a listen below.

Mockingbirds copy the songs of other birds, sometimes copy a car alarm or a cat's meow! But, when they sing, they mix it up, like a crazy sort of jazz.

There was one summer week a number of years back...this mockingbird was an insomniac and was singing at 2 AM. I totally got the title "To Kill a Mockingbird" as I was so ready to. I love the perspective of this photo.

Yeah, they can be bothersome especially if you are out camping. They don't quit til late and start back up in the morning very early. Love your image of him in the tree. Beautiful composition, Lynn! V

If I read the word mockingbird I always get a reconnection with the book of Harper Lee "How to kill a mockingbird", I think this is because I do not really know the bird great catch
