Guardians of the Ribbon brought two pink firetrucks to the Dragon Boat Festival. Both trucks were covered with loving messages, inspriational writings, and the names of those affected by breast cancer. There are many breast cancer survivor dragon boat teams. The two attending our event yesterday were the Pink Phurries from Houston and the Cajun Invasion from Lafayette, Louisiana.

Guardians is an organization that drives these PINK Fire Trucks across the United States to support women in their fight against cancer and inspire men to get involved. It was started in Phoenix, Arizona by firefighter Dave Graybill.
