Designed to be Seen

A light ship that operated to the north of Australia. Light, bell, bright colour all packed into 72' and 164 tons. Now at the Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour. I wonder how many lives it saved.

It's a remarkable exhibit - is it not? Good clear picture. Boy that red is bright. I suppose it needed to be.
