There is nothing wrong with living in the suburbs. Especially when the house you call your own was built in the first year of Victoria's reign. Back then, there was only one other house within two miles, and the views out the front and back were of unbroken countryside for as far as the eyes could see. Now there are unbroken views of the houses on the other side of the street. But at least the noisy and dirty steam railway has gone. Replaced by modern houses, though.
