Once more I have had to resort to an image from the archive. I have a good reason - one that goes slightly beyond the lame excuse that I couldn't be bothered picking my camera up - for the fact that I couldn't really be bothered picking the machine up is by-the-by. Being busy doing other things is my reason. In the morning I was busy beavering away, making sure that I got my invoices out and dealing with the publisher and copyediting and drinking coffee and eating bananas. In the afternoon, Gavin came-a-calling, and we sat in the garden blethering for several hours before retiring to the living-room to make an unsuccessful attempt at removing the big black blobs that have attached themselves to my camera's sensor. We finally decided to give it up in favour of Sensor Swabs and pec pads. They should arrive on Tuesday - so with fingers' crossed, and a little bit of help from Him upstairs, the problem will be resolved. If not, I will have to take it to the Nikon agent in Glasgow to get them to clean it for me... or I could just buy a new camera (but that would be my 4th in 18 months - so I don't see Linda letting me get away with that!). As for this image... well, it may have been taken a couple of months back, but it was jiggery-pokeried today. So there.

Being doing the update for this today... late again!
