Lazy daisy

Some days it is very difficult to think of interesting material to write about. Today is one of these days in which nothing at all of note happened in my life. It didn't have to be like this, because when I woke up at 9am, I had the idea that we could jump in the car and go somewhere for the day. Instead, we made the most of the weekend, and lay in bed until 11am. After that, I went to watch what was left of Soccer AM (sorry, Rich - I forgot to tape it). By the time Tim and Helen had left the screen, I just had enough time to bring in the washing before the heavens opened and ruined all plans for a walk in the country (not that I can walk very far anyway). In any event, I was informed that Liam was going to his friend's birthday sleepover, and that he had to be there for 4pm. Since it was by now 1.30pm, any remaining possibility of getting out of the city evaporated. Instead, I retreated to my computer to listen to the football (sorry again, Rich ;( ) while Linda took Liam to wherever it is he was going. When she got back, she made me a delicious lamb curry (yum, yum), which I devoured with much gusto... now more than ever I need that walk in the country!

Didn't do too much this time last year either!

Wow what a great shot of a different way to expose a daisy. Your title is perfect for this one too. I love that softness and the colors. Exceptional well executed. Voting!

Wonderful! Shades of Georgia O'Keefe.
I love the softness and suggestion of mystery.

I don't remember seeing daisies half out before - nor this big for that matter :-) Works great with the shallow focus
