I placed a large diffuser in the window to soften the light for this use of light pet portrait of my good gril, Kenai.

Shot with my least expensive and lowest tech lens. The Canon 35mm f/2.0. No USM, no full time manual override. Noisy, contrasty and light weight. I love it.

Side note: The large 60 inch, round, 5n1 diffuser/reflector I got off of ebay for a $1 (granted it was $10 dollars shipping) but still worth the price. Look for a company called Amvona on ebay. But don't buy from their store, or buy me now, the prices are too high. Instead just check their auctions they let several of these go every two or three days and it's like they never have any bids on them. Happy hunting.
