Breakfast at the Tavern

The best place to eat any time of the day in Roanoke, VA. Texas Tavern!

They serve a thousand people, ten at a time. They have ten bar stools bolted to the floor just infront of that timeless stainless steel countertop. As you can see you don't even have to go inside to be served you can just get it at the window. So really we might have to ask Jim Bullington (fellow Pbase member and former owner of Texas Tavern, his grandson now owns it. http://www.pbase.com/jbull) about it really being eleven at a time.

Other title options were "Open All Night" and "Short Order Chef"

Suggestions?

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM
1/400s f/2.8 at 16.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Very nice. Maybe I should try eating there instead of just taking pictures of the outside?

This looks like a timeless shot , it could have been shot in the 50's of today. Excellent

Like this image James. As it is breakfast, how about "Breakfast To Go" I will need to look up this place the next time I am in Roanoke. I often eat at "Ernie's". I have a Roanoke gallery at:http://www.pbase.com/bbellngr/roanoke
