Wow, that's my great or great grandad (Donkey Harris). I'm looking around online as his son (my father passed away at Christmas.

The man who ran the donkey rides at the paddling pool was a Mr Harris. His grandson, John told me that he had to lug their dinner time meal of hay from their stable every day. Then, after the summer season, he would have to drive them up the Halfway Road to Telegraph Hill where they were overwintered.
