Just getting into family trees....... I guess we have some relatives in the Sheerness we didn't know about .... thought it was mainly in North London & North Kent.

I agree as I used to walk past it every day to go initially to the National School and then to Delamark Rd. School in the fifties. I also echo Roger Betts sentiments, this site is a tonic for an old ex-pat like myself. The Island has changed a lot in the last 60 yrs but your site is an archive of memories for us old 'Ites. Yet another wonderful collection of pictures, lets hope it will never end Trev.This Hollobon shop was in Winstanley Rd Sheerness.We used it regularly when I was a youngster. I remember the sawdust on the floor and the gent in the window had pure white hair and a big smile.
